O - Hi - O!!!!!!

Here's where we posted our last blog...today @ lunch at the Little River Cafe.

This place was a little hard to find. Our GPS said to make a right into a mailbox and that was apparently "arriving at destination." After NOT making a right and following the road for .5 mile we found the cafe:) and had a nice relaxing lunch before we.....

Went ZIPLINING!!!!!!!

The tour was 2 1/2 hours long. We walked across 10 sky bridges and went down 8 ziplines. The tallest was 78 feet high and at one point, while we were zipping:), we were 108 feet above the ground. Our tour guide "Ville" from Finland gave us all the Ohio tree and history facts throughout our adventure. Who else would know more about Ohio then a guy from Finland??

We learned that White Oak trees have white bark and Red Oak trees have red lines in its bark. Go figure. He told a really horrible joke about the leaves, stating "White Oak have round leaves because white men shoot bullets. Red Oak have pointy leaves because Indians shoot arrows." Yeah, no one laughed on the tour either.

On the way to our hotel, we decided to pull over at some random antique shop with a bull's skull out front and a cemetery in its backyard. Probably not the best place for two girls to stop, but the old man with no teeth and a humpback looked sweet and welcoming. We saw bear claws for $25...$15 for the small claw. $55 for a pair of "black dolls". For 5 cents we had the pleasure of viewing a 1920's "adult viewfinder" where we saw the process of a woman taking off her shirt and putting on her socks. All the while, keeping her girdle nicely in tact. It was just as "sexy" as it sounds. After that, we saw enough and headed out. Steph ended up getting some really cool antique bottles that she collects. So, it was worth the risk of possibly spending the rest of our road trip in that cemetery.

We write from you in our hotel room in Mason, OH. About to grab something to eat and head to bed. Have to be up early for tomorrow's destination, which is 8 hours away but that's all we're gonna say:)

See you tomorrow!

Happy Trails:)
